Pineapple Basil Mocktail

This Pineapple Basil Mocktail is easily one of the best mocktails I have ever made. The refreshing blend of sweet pineapple, zesty lime and fragrant basil, come together in this easy recipe in just under 10 minutes. It’s fresh, flavorful and perfect for a warm, summer or spring day. So go ahead, sit back, sip and enjoy.

Ingredients for Pineapple Basil Mocktail:

Pineapple- I used fresh pineapple. In my opinion, this makes all the difference and really makes this drink delicious.

Pineapple Juice- Normal pineapple juice from the store (without added sugar if possible).

Lime Juice- I juiced the lime myself, so it was fresh. Using fresh ingredients will always make things taste better.

Maple Syrup- We need just a little bit of sweetener, and maple syrup is my go-to, slightly more natural way to sweeten something up.

Basil Leaves- If you don’t like basil, mint could work here too. Or you could do both! The basil turns the drink a little green, but it honestly tastes SO GOOD.

Ice Cubes- The drink is more refreshing when it’s ice cold. Adding ice cubes at the end helps cool the entire drink.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Pineapple (chopped)
  • 4 fl ozs Pineapple Juice
  • 2 tbsps Lime Juice
  • 2 tbsps Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsps Basil Leaves (chopped)
  • 8 Ice Cubes (as needed)

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients except for the ice cubes to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Divide the ice cubes between glasses. Pour the drink overtop and enjoy!

Notes:

  • Leftovers- Best enjoyed fresh. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to two days.
  • Serving Size- One serving is equal to approximately 1 1/2 cups.
  • No Maple Syrup- Use honey instead.
  • No Basil- Use mint instead.
