Honestly, a great Caesar salad is all about that bold, garlicky flavor, but traditional versions are often loaded with heavy mayo and hidden additives. That’s why we’re recreating that savory craving using clean, plant-powered ingredients that truly fuel your body. By swapping out the traditional heavy base for soft tofu, we’ve created a dressing that is unbelievably silky and rich. It coats every single leaf of crisp romaine perfectly, giving you that classic steakhouse experience right at home, all the while keeping you feeling energized and light.

Ingredients for Romaine with Tofu Caesar Dressing:
Tofu– Our secret weapon for a rich, velvety base without the heavy cream or mayo. Tofu is a fantastic, lean plant-based protein that helps your muscles recover after a tough workout, while keeping the dressing incredibly light and smooth.
Nutritional Yeast– This brings that signature cheesy, savory flavor that every good Caesar salad needs. Even better? It’s high in B vitamins (especially Vitamin B12), which help boost your energy levels.
Dijon Mustard– Adds a tangy punch and a tiny bit of heat to give the dressing some depth.

Apple Cider Vinegar– This brings a crisp, bright acidity to balance out the richness of the tofu, while providing great support for healthy digestion and gut health.
Tamari– A gluten-free alternative to soy sauce that delivers a deep, savory umami flavor, perfectly mimicking the saltiness traditionally provided by anchovies in classic Caesar recipes.
Garlic: Minced fresh garlic adds that essential, sharp, savory bite to the dressing and is famous for its immune-boosting and heart-healthy properties.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil- Olive oil helps your body absorb all the nutrients from the greens, while bringing in a little healthy fat to help keep you satiated.
Romaine Lettuce– Crisp and satisfyingly crunchy, romaine is packed with water weight to keep you hydrated, alongside a generous dose of Vitamin A and Vitamin K for bone and immune health.
